Network Engineer

We are searching for a full-time, senior level engineer to design, implement, and support small, medium, and enterprise-level networks for clients.  Candidate must be professional and have excellent communication and client interface skills.  Applicants must enjoy working with clients to trouble-shoot problems and accessing information technology requirements.  Excellent customer service skills are a must for this position as well as the desire to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and co-workers.

Required Skills:

• Windows SBS, 2003, and 2008 Server Experience: Minimum 5 Years
• Linux, UNIX, and Novell experience a plus
• Exchange 2000, 2003, & 2007: Minimum 4 Years
• Applications: Microsoft SQL & Microsoft Projects a plus
• Advanced WAN and LAN troubleshooting/problem determination
• Security Experience: Firewalls, VPN, Security Audits, IDS preferable
• Advanced understanding of Active Directory and TCP/IP Desired
• Strong knowledge of Multi-Protocol Label Switching and Routing
• Telephony experience a plus
• Backup Experience including tape drives, remote backup, and Backup Exec
• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

  Desired Technical Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) - required
• Cisco Certified - preferred
• Novell Certified - preferred
